Bob Johnson, through his heart-warming poetry, takes us through a newborn's life as he or she grows up, has fights, finds friends, asks questions about Santa Claus and the doing of right and wrong, plays sports, starts thinking about girls or boys, graduates from school, gets married, has his/her own child, makes decisions about life and what is important in life, and starts the circle of life over again.

The books illustrate in a very touching and uplifting way the feelings past and to come involved in having a child, be it a son or a daughter, and watching their life unfold before your eyes.

The Johnson family has donated approximately $45,000 in publishing, computer, computer software and other direct out-of pocket-expenses related to the books as well as all of their time writing, illustrating, marketing and managing the project to make it possible to donate all proceeds from the sale of each book to HTF.
