These collections of poems brought tears to my eyes. They bring back such memories of our children’s lives. Both the illustrations and the poetry are delightful and so full of love. These are great books to read to our grandchildren. I will definitely recommend these books to my friends.

My friend from the Denver area sent me the books, "A Father's Poem To His Son" and "A Mother's Poem To Her Son" written by Bob Johnson and beautifully illustrated by Inger Johnson. After reading them through very teary eyes, I thought that I had to get more of these for gifts; one for my son for Father's Day, one for my daughter-in-law for Mother's Day and one for my daughter. I am hoping they will do more of these books in the future for grandparents, aunts, uncles as well as for mothers and fathers as I have so many friends who are grandparents as well as parents, etc. and I know they would love them as much as I do. It makes a great gift for all.

As a parent and grandparent I really enjoyed reading Bob Johnson's books "A Father's Poem to His Son" and "A Mother's Poem to Her Son. They were so heart-warming in sprit and the pictures were very nostalgic and beautiful. We have purchased a copy of each book to give to our son on Father's Day and to our daughter-in-law on Mother's Day. They have a 2 year old daughter and a 6 year old son whom they are very devoted to. I'm sure these wonderful books will stay in their family for many years to come.

When I read the book about “A Father's Poem to His Son” written by Bob Johnson, and illustrated by Inger Johnson, I found it very special. It came straight from his heart and you can feel the love that he has for his son. The other book I read, “A Mother's Poem to Her Son” was the same way. You sure know how much his son is loved and the illustrations in the book are phenomenal. I do not have children of my own but I am an Auntie to my nephew and niece whom I love with all my heart; they are the apple of my eye. I will be buying more of these books for friends and family of mine who have children as it makes a very beautiful gift.
